I could use a good laugh today. I found it.

What a hoot! This Cartoon Network Adult Swim cartoon is the funniest thing I have seen in a long time. Ostensibly a Johnny Quest parody, The Venture Bros. is really much more: a complex, hilarious series that sends up practically every superhero and sci-fi cartoon I’ve grown up with.
The character development and comedy are top notch. Easily my favorite character is the arch villian The Monarch (shown here with his sidekick, Dr. Girlfriend):

If you like grownup cartoons at all, you really should check out The Venture Bros. Big thanks to Steve for the introduction.
And now for something completely different.
From New Scientist:
My son-in-law discovered a strange property of the remote control that switches his car alarm on and off. By pressing it firmly to his chin, he can increase considerably the range at which it works. Not believing him, we experimented with other chins. It works, and in some cases the range is doubled depending on the type of car alarm. How does this effect occur?
The Omni Mouth is a new marketing blog published by Omni Software to promote their generally excellent Mac software. Linda is a primary poster there, and her writing style (to me at least) is very funny. Check out this example.
LASIK@Home looks like an easy weekend project.
