Scott, Steve, Somara, Giles, Josh, and I saw Thomas Dolby in concert last night at a wonderfully small venue. We had a good time, and Dolby did not disappoint (except when his equipment broke for “Leipzig” and he had to move to the next song). His performance of “The Flat Earth” was heavenly.

Last time Scott and I saw Thomas Dolby was at the Austin Opry House, back in 1984(!).

I want this washing machine. What great advertising!

Night before last John G., Scott, and I met for dinner, then went to the Frank Black concert at La Zona Rosa. Frank put on a good show, opening with “Calistan” (one of my favorites), and didn’t play a single Pixies song all night (too bad).
